How We Measure Data Quality
Freshness status is computed automatically from each source's last-verified date and its expected refresh cadence. A source is Current when verified within its cadence window, Refresh Due when past cadence but within 2× the window, and Verify Independently when beyond 2× or in an error state.
Confidence scores (0.0–1.0) reflect the reliability of each source based on primary vs. secondary data origin, recency, and known data completeness from the most recent verification pass. Scores of 0.92–0.99 indicate primary government or accredited body sources.
Event-driven sources (like IRA Regulatory Updates and DSIRE Program Launches) are monitored for material changes rather than calendar-based refreshes. They always show Current unless a verification failure is logged.
